Pommard Les Chanlins

Vines planted in 1932, acquired in 2009, recently grubbed up.
Traumatised by three years of hail, the vineyard was on its last legs! Two “ouvrées” (unit used to measure vineyard surface area equivalent to 428 m2) were replanted in 2013 and a 8 further “ouvrées” in 2017, resulting in an area of 40 ares. The wines are elegant and mineral with pronounced tannins.
