Purchase of grapes or wine from the Charmes Chambertin appellation on the Charmes terroir, below the Chambertin Grand Cru. More clayey than Mazoyères Chambertin Grand Cru, its southern neighbor, but quite mineral in depth, the wine reveals itself with power and tension in its youth. Its coated tannins and aromas of morello cherries gradually express themselves with opening or decanting.
